TIADA CONFERENCE & EXPO
Great, let’s get down to business. You will need the following items to complete an application:
Session Title – We may work with you to tweak this, so we get the most out of marketing your session.
Session Description – Up to 75 words, again we may massage this one before it goes in the program.
Learning Objectives and Outline – Be specific here and briefly tell us what our attendees will learn or how it will help their business. We have a form to help you with this one.
Contact Info – We probably know you, but just in case we don’t.
About the Speaker(s) – In 150 words or less tell us about your experience and include a brief bio so we can tell our attendees how lucky they are to hear you.
Headshot – Our attorney says we have to tell you we will use this photo to help promote the conference; consider it done. Must be high resolution, professional headshot, from the chest up.
Video – Another word from our attorney, TIADA reserves all rights to this video and may use the content in promoting the conference. Our marketing folks tell us this is a must these days. The video will be used not only to help evaluate the applications; it will also be used to help us promote your session prior to the event. A few tips to help: (1) Don’t have any logos or subtitles in the video we will take care of all that. (2) Make sure the video is over 30 seconds but no more than 1 minute and 30 seconds. (3) Tell us who you are, give a brief overview of your session and make sure to include two or three takeaways a dealer will be able to use back to their dealership or to help the business. (4) The video should be .mp4 or .mov format, have good audio and good lighting. We also suggest recording from the chest up, no one is coming to see your shoes. (5) Our last suggestion: If you need some help people under 18 seem to be really good at this video stuff.
