Robert Beck
Robert began his working life in 1982 after graduating with a degree in Accounting from Utah State University. While in school, he had worked for his uncle selling used vehicles. Following graduation and 3 years working for an international accounting firm, he resigned and returned to his automotive roots to sell automotive sales training workshops featuring Jackie B. Cooper. When Cooper retired in 1996, Robert entered into business with his business partner Nelsen Simonsen to provide automotive customer follow up to over 25 new car franchises in the San Antonio and Austin, Texas markets. In 2005 they decided to open a Buy Here/Pay Here business in San Antonio, and have been very active in TIADA activities since the day they began operations. After 18 years of collecting notes, Robert and Nelsen have decided to retire. Robert has been married to his High School Sweetheart, Peggy for 44 years. They have four children and ten grandchildren.

Nelsen Simonsen
Nelsen entered the BHPH business in the summer of 1985 as a summer job after his first year of college. Somehow, that became a career and he never looked back. The first dealership he worked for had salespeople collect the notes they sold, so he learned how to collect at a very early age. Fast forward 20 years to 2005 and He opened Stop N’ Drive Motors with business partner Robert Beck and together the two of them have managed every aspect of the dealership. They’ve been blessed to have long term collectors over the past 18 years as sales cycles have pad their peaks and valleys.
