Your presenter, Susan Gaytan, brings over twenty-four years of retail automotive experience and dealership management expertise to Alan Ram’s Proactive Training Solutions. In her current role as a Director of Training, she is responsible for the development of all training content, the integration of training solutions through live & online training, and ultimately ensures that dealership teams maximize the effectiveness of training and yield performance results. Susan emphasizes the importance of a leader's role in effective sales training and is passionate about providing the best value and support for dealers. She encourages all managers to train side-by-side with their salespeople to build a powerful sales team from the top down.

Susan began her experience in the auto industry at the age of 21 as a part-time receptionist for a high volume Lexus dealership. Her bilingual skills demanded her assistance on the sales floor, and she was quickly promoted to Customer Relations Manager. Within her dealership tenure she has taken on leadership roles as Inventory Manager, Wholesale Appraiser, Sales and Service Trainer and finally as a Certified F&I Manager. She has served on the Production Council for Lexus Western Region, was a Lexus Program Consultant and served as a liaison between the dealership and factory.

Susan is a National Certified Trainer and Facilitator of Management By Fire!
and all in-dealership training events. Susan is passionate about providing proper leadership support & representation to the car industry’s next generation of leaders. She strives to support & promote the power of females, ethnic & LatinX communities within the auto industry.
